I have played and composed for 25 years and began teaching in 2011. In that time I have found that virtual lessons are just as effective as in person so long as we stick to a regular schedule and commit to a full school year to work together.

For this reason, I recommend that my students sign on for regular weekly lessons for a complete academic year (September through June).

• Under 10 years old, 30 minute lessons

• Teens, 45 minute lessons

• Adults, 1 hour lessons

My private piano studio is located in Montpelier, Vermont where I also act as music director for a church with a beautiful organ we can also access for lessons.

Virtual Lessons

With recent developments, and as my clientele has become increasingly international, virtual lessons are ever more common. Watch these excerpts of real live sessions with students to get a better idea of how far remote musical instruction has come.

Student Performances

Formal performance plays an important part in any attempt to grow musical skill. Local in-person clients can look forward to annual group performances in June. International clients will be required to submit formal performance videos similar to those of the students below.
